Mansun-Six
An underrated album in my opinion. People mistakenly label them as britpop, but they were smarter than britpop, they were one step ahead. If you like Manic Street Preachers, Suede or most proggy music, you would like Mansun, I think.

King Crimson-In The Court Of The Crimson King
I've already seen this mentioned, and it is one awesome album. It's prog in its purest sense-time signatures out of place, crazy instruments, masses of vocal harmonies, and just plain amazing, beautiful, insane music.

The Police-Greatest Hits
I know it's a greatest hits, but we all need somewhere to start. Great tunes, some real classics in "Can't Stand Losing You" and "Roxanne". The reggae/rock feel of the songs is a great feel.

Muse-Black Holes and Revelations
All-out insane progspacepoprockmetalalternativeindie epic. It's one of the best albums of 2006, if not one of the best albums ever. Bellamy's voice is in perfect shape, and all of the songs are pretty much perfect.
