As far as 'underground' music today goes I think bands like Slint & Pavement had a much bigger influence than Nirvana ever did.

I can dig that.
Another point, as someone who has listened to the majority of Queen's back catalogue. Why pick Night At The Opera? Apart from its one defining song it is awful and overly pompous. Queen's debut was far less dull aswell. Edit : Screw the Palatino Linotype. Too much hassle

Shame Queen didn`t split up in 1975 , those first 3 albums were quality

I agree with that. I have some early recordings from a session at the Beeb which are really good. It's excellent without Brian May's smug attitude aswell.
