I grew up with this album... and I found a vinyl copy of it out there on a vinyl collectors' site and bought it (though it's pretty worn).
I bought it mostly for the great version of "Granada", but it is a well done album with a mixture of variety of spanish music styles -- they blend it well. I rather like the album, but I'd like a better copy of it. Valencia Ay, Ay, Ay Malaguena Bullerias Ritual Fire Dance Granada Estrellita Macarenas Sevillanas Carmen Suite Oh, it turns out that these tracks, in the correct order, appear on the Two-fer "All time Top Tangos / Spain" Label: Dutton Vocalion ASIN: B0001Z2RPK I found it on Amazon. Looks like it was just re-released this year on CD. |
