hmm...Nashville...
Well, down on broadway there are a lot of either heartbroken sappy country ballads or bluegrassy stuff.

The only venue I go to these days is Rocketown, where a lot of local Death Metal, Acoustic, and Alternative bands go.
It's hit and miss.

Michigan has a ton of decent metal. In my town there are a lot of screamo. As well as some really trippy avante-guarde crap.

I'm at work and my office manager is staring. I will edit this at a later time.

Troy, NY has it's own genre of music, underground called TroyCore. It sucks. And the people who love this **** remind me of neo-nazi skinheads in American X, except they're not intelligent and they don't feign it well, either. Also it consists of a lot of 300 lb white girls that are pissed off at their fathers.

well this isnterasting, cause I'm from Nicosia...Cyprus. check the map, it's a tiny island under Turkey. don't get me wrong, we have a lot of bars and "music scenes" as we call them, who have live bands a couple of days every week, but mostly the songs are in greek, cause well we speak greek here, and they are mostly crappy teenage cover bands. anw I must say I'm pretty proud of some fellow nicosian singers, especially Αλκίνοος Ιωαννίδης (Alkinoos Ioannidis) you can check him out on last.fm, he is a folk singer. also Cat Stevens is cypriot but he only has a few greek songs.

I know where Cyprus is! A kid in my school used to live there and I talked to him about it.

well I was expecting members from the uk to know where it is, but this is cool. I've came to Boston 4 years ago, but only for a day. I was in Canada with my family, and we went on a 10 day tour of the north-east u.s. states. the one thing that stuck in my head from that tour, was how much Pennsylvania sucked! maybe the fact that they took us to see an amish town is responsible for this...

I keep meaning to check out Genghis Tron. They have played a pub I mentioned in my first post called Trillians a bunch of times in recent years. They seem to be in the UK a lot.
