Post The difference between rock and country music.

Hello, I'm doing a project at school, and my topic is modern music. One of the things I have to do is write a bit on the differences between rock music and country music.
In this project I have to gather information from a variety of different sources for higher marks. I already have a few ideas for this, but I was wondering, what do you think the differences between rock music and country music is? This can be anything from timing to intruments used.
Thanks for your help and taking the time to read this and hopefully give me some helpful information, any information would be appreciated.

From Oliver.
