Logically, you guys got me.

The thing is, I don't really see how The Beatles changed the sound of music. I mean, rock and pop existed before this. Yes, they had some innovations, but really...

I'd like someone to clarify this. Being that I'm not a very big Beatles fan, I haven't done all my research.

Huge innovations in the studio, especially on Abbey Road/Sgt. Peppers, they set the table for both metal and psychedelia to explode with Tomorrow Never Knows and Helter Skelter, and they basically inspired many a musician for generations afterward. Still are in fact.

I find that At The Drive-In is unlistenably bad sounding. I guess that might not be the most obscure of opinions, but it certainly puts me in the minority on MB.

I think the worst thing about that list is the fact the utter shit that is Keane beat the Queen is Dead.

And how the **** did Coldplay beat Joy Division?

That's unpopular with me.

I can sort of see how you would think that, though. Their music is really out there. I love it though. It gets to me, and inspires me. I like the whole sound and feel, and it's catchy as hell (One Armed Scissor, Invalid Litter Dept).

That leaves hell of a lot to be desired...Unless you're joking.
