And why would anyone bother dissing KMK? I mean I love them but they're not relevant to anything so who cares?

ICP were going to sign KMK but ended up signing Twiztid instead so KMK kind of got a bit upset about it.

This looks like as good a place as any to start my posting career.

I really hate The Cranberries. The "classics" station at work keeps playing the song Zombie, and the vocals make me want to pull my hair out.

After the Ramones first album the next truly important rock album was Metallica's Kill Em All.

How important was Van Halen though? Were they on the same level as the Ramones or Metallica?

Were they as musically innovative as the Ramones? No. But they combined everything that was going on in metal and punk at the time in a package that was quite possibly the most perfectly realized metal album before and after their debut (to this day). There's no other album I can think of that encapsulates everything about metal as much as Metallica's debut, and it was a focus point of influence for what would immediately become the thrash movement.

Was VH as important as Kill Em All? That depends on what you’re trying to measure.
