they've released pretty much nothing but crap since.

In my neighborhood it's most likely to be really bad R&B. Second most likely is hip hop. Occasionally, it may be gospel or house music.

My brother use to be one of these assholes. He never understood why I was so uncomfortable in his car. If I can feel your music but not hear it, you're experiencing it completely wrong!

There's a lot of night clubs in my City where they play that damn loud. Can't hear the music because it's so loud and forget all about having a conversation. I don't get the point. I pretty much despise night clubs.

Higher volume just doesn't make anything sound better. After a certain pretty low threshold, you're going to be able to hear even the quietest details in the music clearly and get a good feeling of bass groove. After that point you're just molesting your eardrums for no reason.
