Hah yeah, I remember being the one defender of Alanis, even though the only album of hers I really like is Jagged Little Pill.

Im also gonna make an unpopular statement:

Alanis morrisette is unreal
You Oughta Know is an awesome song, thanks to Flea playing on it.

Seriously though, I like some of Alanis Morrisette's stuff...

Neil Young is more Punk Rock than any artist or band that actually plays punk rock.

Umm...I don't know about that. I agree, he's rebellious, better than any so-called "punk bands" of the past 10 years. But to say he's more punk rock than bands like the Dead Kennedys and Sex Pistols, is a bit of reach for me.

Just to touch up a little bit here:
Mr. Bungle is better than FaithNo More
Slipknot are one of the better bands today
Frank Zappa is very overrated, yes his music is very unique, and yet very difficult to listen to.
Alanis kicks * (at least JLP)

I hate about 60-70% of the Beatles music.

I didn't like 10,000 Days

I think Nirvana gets a lot more credit than they deserve ( I don't want to argue about it though, I tried once and it was unbelievably frustrating)

Yeah Yeah Yeahs is a monotonous piece of crap. It's a band for people who want desperately to like post-rock, but just don't know what it is, so they listen to this imitation post-rock band.

to reply to the usedtoolguy:
Mr. Bungle is better than FaithNo More

Slipknot is the biggest joke of a band, the kids who go around wearing slipknot shirts acting all hardcore and elite bug the mess out of me

I don't care if Frank Zappa is overrated as a person/name (fewer people than you think can hold a conversation about his music) he's a great musician, who I don't find difficult to listen to.

I don'y care about Alanis one way or the other.
