The Final Cut

Mine would be almost exactly the same.
  1. Piper at the Gates of Dawn
  2. Dark Side of the Moon
  3. Saucerful of Secrets
  4. Wish You Were Here
  5. Either Meddle or The Wall - I can't decide.
But I still say Supertramp beats them.

Animals is probably my favourite. Very evocative of long distance car journeys with my dad when I was like 13 and just getting into music. The album just flows perfectly, and frankly that's probably Pink Floyd's best quality. Dogs is something special. And that cover art.

Yeah, all the tracks go together so perfectly, and it's short enough that it is entertaining without being too short. Track listing wise. The tracks themselves are pretty long.

Honestly I think I like Pink Floyd's more experimental and improvisational side song wise my top 5 does it, but I really like some of that pre-DSOTM stuff that gets me. All of Saucerful, some of More, and Ummagumma (live album, and Sisyphus)

I get it believe me and yes it is remarkable in the way it flows, and from a production standpoint, but I feel like the songs can drag on at some points.

This is coming from a guy who listens to 3-5 hour portions of a 24 hour song reguarly. The message is fine, but I just can't find my self coming back to it often. Once in a while sure, but not every time I listen to Pink Floyd.

I pretty much agree. It's the one albums I like to put on whenever I am in the mood for PF.

So true, Roger Hodgsons single Fools Overture from their '77 album Even In The Quietest Moment is a progressive masterpiece.

Apart from Breakfast in America, I didn't get too involved in Supertramp. I like their popular songs, but don't know them too well album-wise.
