The first four tracks on Skelethon are the best of any Hip Hop album ever.

I disagree but it is a solid lineup.

If we skip intros/interludes maybe OneBeLo - Sonogram or Last Emperor - Music Magic Myth. Can't go wrong with WuTang - 36 Chambers either. Sorry i'm terrible at narrowing things down that much.

I like the first 4 tracks of None Shall Pass better than Skelethon also.

Aesop Rock is like the technical death metal version of hip hop. It's fun for about thirty seconds, but there's just so many lyrics being thrown at you that it eventually just desensitizes you and your mind starts to wander.

He definitely has some songs where you're like "wtf is he talking about?". But he has some great story tracks as well like:

Spoiler for Aesop Tracks:

I actually prefer wankery solos, to overly technical ones in thrash metal.

@Frownland the Tom Waits Hell Broke Luce is starting to grow on me and I like the video. Do you have any more songs you would recommend?

Billy Joel is in no way comparable to either Elton John or Michael Jackson. That is what I believe anyway. I do think Joel has several great albums. Glass houses, river of dreams, etc.

If you catch me right when I wake up and do not allow me to start listening to metal, I will probably play one of those albums, eventually...
