No you don't. I saw him live on PBS and all I had to have was a basic understanding of what "cool" was, as he was the personification of it.

I don't want to try to change the topic but I get what he tries to imitate. I wouldn't call it innovative. I think his performance style is interesting.

I think he has a great voice actually, very expressive. He's also a multi-instrumentalist with a 40 year career who has tried a lot of different things so I wouldn't form an opinion on him based on listening to a song or two on YouTube.

Eminem ****s on Whitey Ford and Everlast, but if I could only pick one song, I'll take "What it's like" over any Eminem song. The replay value is significantly higher.
