I think that's like saying "the Pope's not Catholic, and that's my opinion". The Beatles had talent, but you don't have to like them or anything, and I totally see where you come from if you say they're overrated.

Anyone who claims to like rock music and says they don't get the Stones is someone who's opinions I don't take seriously.

If you'd said the Beatles were the best musical group of all time, I would have been a lot more annoyed. I have much more respect for the opinion of someone who's given them a shot and didn't like them than someone who a) calls them the best, which is hyperbole, or b) just says, "Oh, I love the Beatles" having only heard Hey Jude and Yellow Submarine.

OK, I've dissed the Stones, Franco's dissed the Beatles. Somebody diss The Who.

The Who were great as a singles Mod Pop band, but after The Who Sell Out they sucked.

He very well could be my mother was a huge stones fan.

I think they're an alright band but their music personally doesn't do much for me.
