The only song I give a **** about is "Comfortably Numb", which is admittedly fantastic, but other than that every time I have listened to them on the radio, or listened to an album, I have been indifferent.

Goood, gooood. Let the indifference flow through you!

And yet if I were to mention that I also don't care about Yes, Genesis, or King Crimson then I imagine most people wouldn't find that nearly as controversial.

I like Floyd a lot, but Shine on You Crazy Diamond on the whole is a heaping pile of ****. I hate whenever Pink Floyd brings in the sax too, they've never done it in a way I didn't find obnoxious. I'm not big on Money either, but that's probably because it's so incredibly overplayed.

If that were actually so, then I'll elucidate that you fall into the "missing out on some of the best music ever created" camp with the heaviest of thuds dear Bats.

Not saying I could never get into them, and King Crimson have had their moments for me (any metalhead can dig "21st Century Schizoid Man" and I can swear that I remember liking Red when I listened to it once a few years ago), but prog rock in general just leaves me cold time and time again.

Point taken. I told some buds who weren't big on prog before that its a genre worth poking around in if you have free time since there's just so much of it out there with a lot of shades and colors (plus varying levels of softness/heaviness). There's something for everyone I guess?

If you liked anything from In The Court Of The Crimson King or Red, you should check out Yes's 1974 album Relayer. Very experimental, heavier and more abrasive than their other albums too.

Cool

Despite having some good songs, Revolver is a boring and underwhelming album.

I agree about Elvis. He is SO overrated.

Little Richard, Fats Dominos and Chuck Berry are the real Kings. I hate what they did to black musicians. The Presly family should be ashamed.
