Do people actually think like this? Is it really that hard to believe that someone doesnt think the Beatles are the beginning and end of all things music?

I can't remember the last time I was like "hm I feel like listening to the Beatles" which probably means I am pretty indifferent to most of their "impressive catalog". Besides Abbey Road and a couple individual songs I could easily go the rest my life without listening to any of their stuff and be very much content.

Im with you in the sense that the beatles aren't the best band ever but they were clearly better than your average band or else they wouldn't be the frickin Beatles, probably the most iconic band in the world, you don't get that kind of status by just being average.

Even by today standards their music still holds up for being innovative, the backlash is they've become so highly praised some ppl just want to knock them down just to have something different to say about them.

You're welcome

Honestly though, do you really think they were just an average band?
I personally don't like the Rolling stones but i would still give them the credit they're better than your average band.

The Beatles were the best band ever. That's objective truth, not subjective opinion.

I'm also not a huge fan of the Beatles, but the songs I do like, I like A LOT.
Lennon-McCartney is easily the among the greatest songwriting duos ever in music.

If there isn't a single Beatles song that doesn't make you want to sing along with it, I seriously question your humanity.

It must be pretty freeing to not know what objective means

Let's see: "not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts".

Whew! Had me worried there but nope, I had it right.
