Hows that for unpopular?
Im not a fan of jimi either, i recognise he played a mean guitar but that's about it.
i do like that 60's psychedelic vibe though.

Whaaaaat. I listen to some of the same stuff you listen to though!

All of the Lights by Kanye is a great song, Started From the Bottom by Drake is great, I love basically anything by the Gorillaz especially Clint Eastwood, and the Knowing, the Zone, and Wicked Games by the Weeknd are some of my favorite chill songs...

Why are you saying that? Because I like (love) Nirvana? Cause I like thrash? I listen to plenty of other stuff bro.

Also, I think you might be misunderstanding me, I don't listen to ICP, but from what I've heard, "Bitch I lied" among others, it's pretty good.

Albums longer than 10 songs are a turn off for me.
Once you get up into the 13-15 range for album length, the bands that don't have good songwriting and/or experiment, will usually produce a handful of songs that sound basically exactly the same.

Punk rock albums in particular have this problem. Everything from the Ramones to the Living End usually have zero variety.

I guess you could make the argument that the Ramones did have some slower stuff, but good God Led Zeppelin makes a fool of every other band I've ever heard in terms of variety.

The thing about Ramones is they did pretty much one thing and did that one thing well. And that was the most they could do. If you're expecting variety from a punk band 9 times out of 10 you're gonna be disappointed because that's not really the point.

Radiohead are boring as ****. Thom Yorke looks like an idiot when he performs. I do like that Smiths cover they did, though.

I haven't heard everything Led Zeppelin has released. But I believe from what I've heard from them that the band Sigh probably has a considerably larger amount of variety in their discography than Led Zeppelin's.

Also, Agalloch is very overrated, and boring compared to Gallowbraid.

This one?

Im not a big fan of Radiohead, ive always felt like they're one of those bands you have to listen to awhile before you sink in to their vibe, what i mean is that they're not a passing fad kinda band you can easily get into and get out off you have to commit your time to get them.

me? i never liked them enough to commit that kinda time so i just like a few songs from them.

Definitely not. Twiztid may be better MCs, but that's like saying getting hit in the head with a nail-spiked baseball bat is better without the nails. As far as I'm concerned Twiztid had one great album, Mosttasteless, one good album, Freakshow, and then they lost whatever originality they still had to make boring Juggalo anthems.

ICP had a much longer run of good material. And their concept, dumb as it might be, was still original. Say what you want but a group that wears clown make-up, raps about killing people, claims to be from some kind of mystical carnival, and then ties it all up into religion is pretty unique. Twiztid just ripped off the face paint and dropped the "interesting" parts so they could just rap about killing people. Of course ever since the Juggalo scene took off and ICP switched to the same Juggalo anthems that ruined Twiztid it's almost pointless to figure out who sucks worse.

Riddle Box > Anything Twiztid have ever done

But can we all at least agree that Blaze Ya Dead Homie and Boondox are awful?

I've only listened to Abominationz and their latest (to my knowledge) mixtape, and they are both fantastic. Not bothered if they ripped off a style or had crappy albums beforehand. I'd always take an artist with one or two great albums over a more consistent artist, who hasn't made anything I consider great.

Though I am not really the best person to discuss it sensibly with, as my knowledge of both groups is very very minimal.
