I get depressed when I hear Jimi Hendrix. Not because he's dead, but because I don't like his tunes. In fact, I hate the whole 60's vibe. It's lame and depressing.

Hows that for unpopular?

What about this? It's sixties, but sure doesn't sound like it.

Doesn't sound like it? You might wanna adjust your listening filter, thats typical 60's protest music. Even the guitar sounds like a Silvertone, or a Mosrite.

Hating the 60s music vibe is pretty unpopular alright. Not something I thought I'd hear from you.

ICP? They're not bad. I love their Wraith album. I think it's just popular to hate them, because their music is actually pretty solid from a white dude murder rap standpoint.

Sure, they might be dumb people and their fans are annoying, but since when the hell does that matter?

I get the whole psychedelic side of it, but it really hits me in the D spot. It's just boring for me. Not really sure why. I loves me some old school blues and such from earlier eras, and I do like Motown from the same era, even some big band stuff... but the whole "Oh wow, far out man", and the plasticized pop crap that came through around that time really strikes me as just silly.

For psychedelia, I'd rather listen to how it's done using tech that wasn't available but has been mastered since then:

Ozric Tentacles is pretty cool. The pop music I don't dig on much either, but I love the psychadelic guitar tones that were really popular. I'd daresay it's one of my favorite things in all of music.

ICP are complete and total dicks in real life. I do not care for them at all as individuals.

As for their music, I find it to be respectable.

^Yeah, but your taste is questionable to say the best.

An unpopular opinion is that Shaggy 2 Dope and the other guy actually seem quite down-to-earth in interviews and their involvement with WCW shows they can take themselves lightly.
