exactly, it's like some shit Joe wrote down on a fucking napkin at the pub when he was too shitfaced to know his left hand from his right. complete garbage.

i just see punk as this sort of facade on one hand and then on the other hand this pathetic trashy lifestyle that gets glamorized for whatever reason by ppl i find to be losers. the music itself is just shrug material for me. i never seem to have much feelin with the songs and i especially dont like the punk subgenres or whatever where the vocals cant even be heard and it sounds recorded in a garage. i guess thats the point but i think it sucks

the same types of people that say stupid things like "talk shit, get hit" and all their friends have manufactured personalities; the only thing they bond over is their appreciation for cheap liquor and nosebleeds.

yep lol

its like one of those high school phases but it lasts forever for those ppl. they think the junkie trashy lifestyle is glamorous and edgy. til they die of course. or they realize their life sucks and its too late for them to reverse things

i think its the subculture of punk or what i perceive it to be that i hate more than the music itself

I just find obnoxious, hectic music annoying.

And obnoxious, hectic people, I guess. But at least I can punch them. I can't punch the actual music.

that's so vague and can apply to anything.

Examples?

Most punk, as being discussed. And a lot of Primus's music. It's really kinda hard to explain, either you get it or you don't.

Ahh when you said hectic music, I took that as over polished/produced music.

No no not at all, I don't have issue with super polished music. Most power metal is pretty polished and I love it. I just don't like when there's a sudden switch in genre. I mean once or twice a song is cool but when there's like 5 different things going on? No thanks.

I feel like that happens in avant garde stuff.
