I like some of Springstein's songs but I am not a fan of his voice... the straining (pinching a loaf) sound doesn't do anything for me.
U2 I dig... they've had some pretty bad moments in the 90's (most of Zooropa and all of Pop) but I think as a band they are very unique and will be around for a long time. I used to think Edge was the worst guitar player when I was 16 but now I really appreciate what he brings to the table. He never goes overboard and his guitar work always suits the music perfectly. |
