Does it bother you K'EA fans that James Hetfield sounds like he's about 12 on that album?

Not particularly.

It also doesn't bother me that it has riffs dropping from its arse.

GTFO. His voice is a force of nature on that album. He certainly has a youthful energy but that only sells the metal-for-metal's-sake vibe of the album even more.

I've never found the riffs very interesting on that one either to honest. To me RtL was a major leap forward for them.
