The Bends sounds really dated now, and I know it's not as good as their later stuff, but I am quite fond of that album since my dad used to play it to me all the time when I was a kid. It was my first taste of Radiohead.

Yeah. Our tastes are ridiculously different. For The Bends is my second favorite Radiohead album. |

It just sounds really off to me.
More unpopular music opinions of mine... The production on Opeth's Blackwater Park is grating and overdone to the point of almost ruining the album. I sometimes skip the heavier songs because they all sound like they melt together for some reason. Killing Joke never released a bad album, not ever. Anal C*nt's songs are actually catchy enough to sing along to. Tool's best album is Lateralus, not Aenima. Radiohead are about half as amazing as everyone thinks they are and Pablo Honey is probably their best followed by Itch. |
