I assume you're talking about that low, loose, sliding-up-and-down-the-strings one. I've always wondered whether that was a bass or if it was just very low notes on a guitar. Either way it's pretty fantastic and make me feel like I'm trapped at the bottom of a well, able to see the light but with no light ever shining down on me.

I'm actually talking about the acoustic guitar going on more in the background. It just adds great texture to the song. Especially when it picks up at the chorus. Along with the weird vocal effects it makes the whole thing feel claustrophobic. On the wrong drugs this song could probably do terrible things.

As a musician, I can understand this. "Far Beyond the Sun" and "Black Star" are excellent songs and he really is skilled. As a person, hell no...I wouldn't mind nailing that guy over the head with his own guitar.

Even Michael Jackson the worlds biggest artist

"They Don't Care About Us" song was banned and did not go to number one.

NWA- F* ck the Police was not even a Top 10 single and even caused the FBI to investigate the group and record label.

I can go on and on

Songs that bashed the system, discuss black oppression, law enforcement, discuss the dominant race "in a bad light".... get banned with the quickness.
Ice-T/Body Count could not have bought the publicity that Cop Killer got him for a billion dollars!

Yeah, I like him as well when I want to hear some wankery. Same with Dragonforce.

The point she is referring to is about the origins of Hip Hop not being conscious material like you seem so insistent on thinking it is.

It's not really as bad as it was in the 90s.

YES! Dragonforce!

I remember searching in my friends cd collection and finding like a Metal mix Cd which had Rammstein, Perfect circle and 'Through the fire and the flames' by Dragonforce.

And when i first heard it i started laughing cause to me it sounded like exaggerated Megaman music lol
i actually made fun of it for a long time but eventually it grew on me and now i think it's pretty epic (still sounds like music from a Megaman stage though)
