Yeah. It's alright to like, or prefer, old artists, but you should have an open mind.

most old people don't have an open mind because they are stuck in their ways and prefer what they prefer.

For crying out loud, a facebook status that exceeds 15-20 responses usually turns into an argument, and more often than not at least one of the parties gets personal.

Harmony is a great idea in theory, but as far as I can tell it's just a pipe dream, because everyone has an opinion, and you can't control what people are allowed to think.

Online =/= Real Life, which has it's own problems.
But, not quite as much rudeness cuz the person is standing right in fronnt of you.

Unpopular Musical Opinions?
Not all new Pop songs are trash. I mean the really poppy ones, too.
The Fat Boys actually had talent, in their earlier records, and

Music as a whole, is a colossal waste of time.

Most people over 30 focus on more meaningful things.

Good point. Once a 14 year old girl is stuck in the spiral of Justin Bieber, there's no way out

You know who i keep meeting though? 16 yr metalheads that laugh at everything that isn't metal lol

No diss on Metal ofc but how is growling better than singing? and god forbid if you get the subgenre wrong "*Ahem* Thats not death metal, that's sludge metal idiot >_>"

rarely do i meet a humble metalhead they're always full of themselves

I don't think it's a matter of better or worse, just different. Growling fits well in the context of certain music.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I consider myself a fan of metal, but I listen to lots of other stuff and prefer clean singing to growling and schreeching. Still, I laughed when a friend told me her little lister thought Nirvana was metal.

Are you saying that people are less likely to be rude in person than they are anonymously? I am shocked by this revelation.
