I own most of their discography, but usually have little inclination to play any of it these days.
really? I thought The Final Cut is one of their most underrated albums

it's great all the way through

I thought it was just another tedious self-indulgent exercise of Roger Waters. I think The Division Bell is a good album though.

Gilmour tedium is preferible to that of Waters.

I find Jazz unbearable to listen to.

Four guys playing different tunes at the same time, or worst of all, they drag up some old gal, who's trying to kick a 40 a day habit, and get her to sing 'she be dee bee bap, I ain't-a seen my a-baby, a wee dee boo dop dooooo' over the top of it.

If there's a hell, Jazz will be playing continuously in the elevators.

As for stage antics - that wasn't the case when I saw them play. Vedder stuck a fucking flower in his mouth and asked the crowd to surf him from the stage to the soundboard so that he could give the flower to a sound guy, and then carry him back to the stage. They of course obliged with repulsive delight.

As for his voice - that's the number one reason why the band sounds so awful.

You really need to listen to more jazz. I'm not saying you have to love it or anything, but dismissing a form of music that has a hundred year history and a massive amount of very different sub-genres based on a couple of cartoonish stereotypes you picked up somewhere is beneath anyone who really loves music.

For starters, check this out. At the very least it should break those stereotypes a bit:
