Well, they're certainly better than Oasis.

Personally I wouldn't shit on either band if they were on fire, but I can't forget the impact of those first 2 Oasis albums. As opposed to Pearl Jam's old man music which I hated on sight.

Only one, I think most of their discography is pretty stellar.

I rarely disagree with you so completely. In fact this may be the first time. You like a Pearl Jam album?

I've suspected for some time that Pearl Jam are nothing more than the Milli Vanilli of grunge.
I mean, it's impossible for a band of 20 somethings to sound that boring so early in life.

Here's the real band responsible for Ten...

Whilst the Abbey Road Band were pulling the strings for the Mancunians. They certainly look like a chirpy bunch.

Yeah, I like the first album quite a bit and then after that the occasional song here and there. Oasis though? Bleh, by and large.

Oasis might have ripped off virtually every British band of the 60s but at least they sounded like a bunch of guys in their 20s ripping off virtually every British band of the 60s.

OK that's me done defending Oasis for this decade.
