I personally don't get why people love Metallica so much. I find most of their work mumbling, growling rubbish which I find completely repulsive.
Also, I don't get the fad people have with the Wedding Present. They are inconceivably popular, but compared to them Bon Jovi sound good. |

s far as unpopular metal opinions go:
I don't like death or thrash much. Other then Death I can't find any death metal I enjoy. I love Megadeth and Testament, like some Metallica, Slayer and Sepultara, but other than that.... I'm much more into Black metal and Sludge/Doom/Stoner. |

On the note of thrash, I see Heathen's Breaking the Sillence as a better candidate for best thrashterpiece instead of Metallica's Master of Puppets.
