I must admit that when I realize something I've picked up is a double album, I am washed in despair that I've now committed to listening to the entire thing. I try to do it in two sittings, but it's much like ripping a bandaid off, best to do it all in one go.
...Still haven't heard 69 Love Songs. |

I have a few small unpopular opinions to share:
> Shellac's At Action Park is too repetitive, and the songs can become really boring after a while. Also, it's not "King Crimson doing the Pixies" as someone said on RYM... that doesn't even make any sense. > Red Krayola is an overall better band than The Velvet Underground... even though I listen to the latter more than the former. I just feel that they have contributed more to music with their vast and diverse discography. There is more to their musical output than just Parable of Arable Land you know... |

What?
You got that right broski. Ugh, me neither, if I want to listen to the Magnetic Fields I just listen to the Distortion album. 69 Love Songs just seems like it's longer, pissier, and generally more weinery than Distortion so I've never bothered giving it a chance.
