I find Neu! to be very boring. I've listened to their first three albums multiple times, and I just can't bring myself to like any of them.

This one might earn me a little bit of ire, but I think Raw Power (1973) is the only Stooges album worth talking about. This is proof that random and chaotic doesn't always mean "raw", and that when there's a focus on that raw energy it can be far more powerful. Fun House (1970) and The Stooges (1969) had good songs on them, but failed as a concise album and work better as singles, but Raw Power just really goes all-in and it really pays off.

Charles Manson was a musical genius.

I wouldn't go so far as to say complete genius, but he was an immensely talented folk musician. Pity that he was completely insane in all of the wrong ways.

Average folk musician*

He wrote some catchy psych folk songs, but I wouldn't go so far as to say he's immensely talented.

I would agree. I doubt he'll be confused with Nick Drake or Roy Harper any time now or in the future.

I like Christine McVie more than Stevie Nicks. I like them both but always enjoyed McVie's voice more.

Here's my unpopular music opinion. I love Guided By Voices, but find them frustrating. I always feel their songs are unfinished. I think Robert Pollard comes as close as anyone in a very long time to writing a perfect pop song, but rather than "finish" it, he seems content with it in, what I feel is, almost a demo stage.
