i'll partially agree with this, while i do feel that i am a fan of the genre, i can agree that some artists take it WAY too seriously.

I still need that album.
I can't stand mainstream pop, country, or rap. That's definitely not an unpopular opinion here, but can millions and millions of people in the United States all be wrong? Yes. Yes they can. Oh, and just because a song as a good guitar solo does not mean it's a good song. |

Beastie Boys where the best band of the 90's. Check Your Head + Ill Communication + Hello Nasty is as good a collection of 90's albums by a band as you'll get.
