This stuff bores me:

Stone Roses - S/T

Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy (Just Like Honey is the exception)

The Replacements - Let It Be (not entirely, it's just sorely overrated)

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (every year or so it makes for an entertaining listen, but the songwriting is piss poor)

Britpop in general, exceptions are rare.

Interpol - Turn On the Bright Lights

3 great songs don't make a decade defining album.

also, while I'm at it, add Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation to my list.

EDIT: Endtroducing too...

here are a few more:-

Beach Boys' Carl & The Passions/So Tough is the best Beach Boys album
Dennis is the true genius in the Wilson family
Grindcore is the best Metal subgenre, solely because of Earache Records #1-100
Herbie Hancock's Rockit band trilogy are his best albums
The Beatles' Let it Be is a pretty great album

and on a final note, I don't like "Dad-Rock" being labelled as such, cos I enjoy a lot of it, and i'm not a dad.....yet

lol. These are unpopular. because they are wrong. It is okay though, I used to think the same when I was 23.

It is like I always say "it is one thing to listen to music, it is quite another to hear it"
