If anything I would still say Razorblade Suitcase was most inspired by Nirvana
Darker sounding content than previous album = check Produced by Steve Albini = check hmmm, reminds me of "In Utero". Though I am sure the picked Albini more cause of Gavin's love of the Pixies. Overall though, it is like they were doing everything to not shed the Nirvana clone status that was following them.

How many times have we heard these bands mentioned? They are NOT unpopular music opinions. 95% of people agree that they are a crock. Where are the confrontational opinions like Dead Kennedy's are piss poor or the Sex Pistols are boring to listen to etc? (and these are not the most unpopular of opinions).

he has the ability to make me have a good night's sleep - not many musicians can do that, besides Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms, if you take out Money for Nothing and Walk of Life
and a good night's sleep is a wonderful thing, really (this is not sarcasm) |

At night when you play Dire Straits do you get a shiver in the dark? He might not be able to sing well but he can play guitar, he knows all the chords.
