Imagine is amazingly shallow. However, Lennon deserves some credit for having a good taste in recording technique, and ability to create a certain thickness in the ambiance in the way he recorded things. Something that I think influenced music immensely later on.

Albeit, he is overrated, I wouldn't say 'crap'.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.
Al Pacino = God

Don't bother taking the bar exam in any US state.

what you think of as throat and chest is actually diaphragm singing.

this supposed "headtone" is singing nasally like most falsettos are.

Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness is the best double album ever released.

"Daydream Nation" by Sonic Youth gets that award, was a double LP..

as was..

"London Calling" by The Clash
"Double Nickels on the Dime" by The Minutemen
"Freak Out!" by The Mothers of Invention.
"Blonde on Blonde" by Bob Dylan
"The Beatle" [The White Album] by The Beatles

MC&tIS was alright, not my favorite album by the Pumpkins (that still goes to "Siamese Dream"). It would still be in my top 5, but it doesn't hold a candle to "Daydream Nation".
