Lololol

I asked this one chick what music she listened to which she said "Everclear" and I made the nastiest face... she definitely saw it. Ha! I need to stop being such a snob.

I would be lying if I said I've never rocked out to Everclear...

Although I don't consider myself a fan, they have a couple really catchy songs.

All damn you all who speak such trash about Pearl Jam.

Static-X and Coal Chamber are the cream of the nu-metal crop

Exactly.

Pearl Jam are damn consistent. Plus they have an average of about an album every 2 years, and every one of those albums is at least "good."

Backspacer was dreadful.

I like Backspacer better than their self-titled album. Both don't hold a candle to their older stuff though.

Nah, it was all right. A decent rock album that successfully infused elements of pop in it.

My unpopular opinion may be that my favorite album from them is Riot Act, though. Freakin love that album.
Riot Act is criminally underrated.

Backspacer just sounded so uninspired, felt more like an album of table scraps left over from better albums that they just slapped together and called a new album. It just felt dull and boring to me. "Just Breathe" is a good song, but the rest to me is just disposible.

Riot Act is underrated as well, I agree. "I am Mine" and "Thumbing My Way" are probably in my top 10 songs from them.

Probably my favorite songs by them though were not on main albums. "Fatal" and "Man of the Hour".
