Kesha isn't good, but when you're at a party/out with friends and one of her songs comes on.......I enjoy it.

Hmm.. I hate Bob Dylan with unbridled passion for turning Urban jagoff college hipster music into "folk". It's truly amazing alchemy when a man who has never dealt with violence, never been to prison, and never spent an appreciable amount of his life doing blue collar work can be a "folk musician".

I'm not really a fan of Dylan but thinking someone has to work a blue collar job in order to make folk music is ridiculous.

Unless they're going to change the lyrical content and sing about their bond portfolio blues, I think it is necessary for the music to remain sincere.

I think you're confusing "autobiographical" with "sincere".
