how do you have unpopular opinion within yourself?

Popularity is not something that can be within yourself: the definition of popularity is related to how well-liked something is by the general population. Therefore, if an opinion of mine is unpopular, it is obviously unable to be unpopular with me personally. Otherwise, it would not be my opinion. Jeez.

Hmm... it depends if you like different types of vocals for different things. Husky, whispered voices like Cat Power's can really send shivers down your spine and heighten your emotions. Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright, Thom Yorke and old Tim can hit notes that really bring a song to life. Low, dark voices like Leonard Cohen take you lower than you ever thought you could go. Then there are completely original vocalists like Joanna Newsom, (whose voice, personally, I find irritating) but originality is often what we look for in artists, so I'm not complaining.
And then if you're bringing the lyrics he writes into it, it opens up another world of contenders.
