Post-rock bores the hell out of me. The only bands I like that have elements of post-rock are iLiKETRAiNS, A Whisper in the Noise, and Crippled Black Phoenix.

^^have you tried the last two Talk Talk albums?

they're a bit different from the norm because Hollis at least has some jazz and classical training

I dnt even know what this genre this type of music is but I feel like every one is the same. I mean theres no feeling or thought put into tese type songs. Pretty much anyone could digitalize their voice or whatever they call it. Jot down a few linest going to the club,lookin fresh.yada yada yada. I dont get it or am I just getting old?



I mean what the hell?lol...My siblings listen to this type music regulary. Does this take talent?

Obviously what I meant.

Maybe it's just where I live but that trend died years ago. People who still complain about it need to get the fuck over it, or realize that hating any trend to begin with is completely pointless, considering what other people do is irrelevant.

Its all an attempt to seem more intelligent musically than other people. I daresay everyone here has been guilty of it at some point. Liking more obscure music makes us feel superior to other people who only listen to the charts or whatever. But I think that as we reach a more mature age we grow out of it and just let people live their own lives.
