I've heard Your Funeral My Trial and Let Love In. I figured giving some mid 80's and mid 90's a try would be a fair shot...neither of those albums captured my interest.

Can sorta understand Your Funeral, but if Let Love In doesn't do it for ya I guess not much will.

Abattoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus worth a shot either way though.

But that's the thing really. I listen to music in order to hear music, not Poetry. He is a great poet, possibly one of the best lyricists of the 20th Century, but that aint music - lyrics are part of music, but most certainly not the whole - and regardless, it really does not make up for tracks like Jazz Police, which really does make me agree with Satchmo. It always annoys me when people refer to him as a Great Musician...
