Maybe not *the* best, but some of the best. They're albums are generally incomplete and overproduced, but they always contain a handful of excellently written pop songs...

His voice in general is much too overproduced. But that album's synthy bass sound is oh sooo sweet...

Meh, Wilco are alright. But they're popular and I find Uncle Tupelo to be the better Tweedy band.

Some people are completely obsessed with Wilco, but I never saw the interest. They are ok, but really nothing special at all. I put them on when I need some quiet guitar based background music.

Wilco are wonderful, I've never really heard of them being too hyped. Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are great albums.

That reminds me, I really need to give No Depression another listen.
It sounded great the first time around, I really need to give it another listen and to get to know it a little better.
Would you say that's their best album?
If I like, I'll end up getting the other 3 anyway.

And I agree with Anton, Wilco are great but I hardly ever listen to them. I knew after Yankee Hotel Foxtrot their popularity grew but meh, they have made some great albums.
