I like, I dislike - these are not opinions people - these are facts!

"I think E.L.O. is good" - that's an opinion! One that doesn't stimulate much conversation, but an opinion none the less.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

No shame bro. ABBA is what pop should sound like.

They're boring. They're nothing special and while upon first listen they've got some enjoyable songs they get stale pretty quick.

Actually it's only 3:47, no idea what the rest of that video would be.

I thought rap was meant to be about the meaning of the lyrics and how it all "relates", yo.
Just like there's other kinds of music with DEEP MEANING in it, there's rap that has that and rap that's just supposed to sound good and be some killuh rhymes yo. That's what this is.

Why yes, he just quoted The goddamn Safety Dance. While that wins some insanity points, it... pretty much lowers everything else.
You hatin' on The Safety Dance? Hell no. In the words of the ever-tremendous Saul Williams, niggas are gonna die. You gonna rag on his "It Takes Two" reference?

We know who this be, it's me, no secrets
Stuck to the beat and glued to the sequence
Igloos than we is
You can catch us walkin on the weekend
While you awkwardly breathin
From all the second hand smoke

What does this mean. I mean really, what?
That third line is "Igloo freezin we is" and you forgot the most critical part: "Nigga you a square/Lit you at the tip/Blow it in the air". He's hating on punk MCs diggityface.

That's just a random excerpt from the list of equally nonsensical lyrics that I found for this monstrosity. I quite like some Rap, if it makes sense, it flows, and there's a point to it. But this? This is just rubbish, mangled together and put to a beat. Yeah, Haters gonna hate, cause it's bollocks.
It's rubbish even though it flows, makes sense and there's a point (to have fun)? You're the one who's bollocks, pippip cheerio timefortea.

I think "A new world record" is really brilliant.
And that's about it.

And I think the first two dire straits albums and love over gold are good from beginning to end. And I do think On every street is underrated.
So there you have it ;D.

Most unpopular opinion:

"Popular (note: not necessarily Pop) music is the best music"

Heh. The Safety Dance kicks ass. It put Men Without Hats on the map.

After Cream, Eric Clapton turned to crap. There's a handful of good songs, the rest are dire.

The current Yes line-up is not the real Yes, it's a pale imitation. especially without Rick Wakeman.

I also seem to annoy prog fans by not rating Genesis that highly. Some stuff was amazing, but I'd prefer to listen to Rush anytime.

Megadeth, for all that they're talented, aren't as good as Metallica.

Elizabeth Fraser's cover of Tim Buckley's Song To The Siren on This Mortal Coil's It'll End In Tears is better than all her work with Cocteau Twins.

Coincidentally, I consider that This Mortal Coil cover of "Song to the Siren" to be the worst cover of all-time. Come at me, Liz.

Very unpopular indeed.

Derek & The Dominos - Layla and other assorted love songs is the greatest rock album ever made! For those keeping score it is post Cream.

Yes is rather dull and ordinary and Rush is cold and heartless...woof.

The Derek and the Dominoes stuff is possibly the only post-Cream stuff I listen to. And Layla was the first song I learnt on guitar!
