^^ Yep! That's my favorite Nirvana song, but it's a cover.

^^My favorite off of Bleach for sure and possibly my favorite of them all. Great, simple bass line...

I disagree with this, but the studio vs. live argument certainly applies to Weezer: They're absolutely horrible in concert, easily the worst "big act" I've seen in person.

For me, a great, freewheeling live act is (obviously) preferable but at the same time you have to display something resembling your albums.

Yes, there are exceptions --- I know replicating something like "Bohemian Rhapsody" live is pretty much impossible -- but at least prove you're more than some studio creation.

To add my unpopular opinion to the Nirvana conversation, the only song that I enjoy listening to by them is Sliver.

I've heard such things.

I also think it's probably unpopular, but I really don't like Led Zeppelin. They're one of the bands ruined for me by my redneck classmates, along with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr., AC/DC, Metallica, and Dave Matthews Band.

Why "your redneck classmates?" What'd they do?

Rock n' Roll in the long run has done more harm than help to music. Disco/Pop is just doing what a lot of early Rock did to other genres to rock. Jazz was the more interesting bastard child of blues, and classical always ****ing ruled.

I think the reason is not your redneck classmates but the fact that none of those bands are good.
