First Priest album I heard was Rocka Rolla.

I really like Halford's voice, personally, but I've also never listened to any of their albums besides Screaming for Vengeance, British Steel, Rocka Rolla and Painkiller.

Speaking of Priest, I thought Turbo was a really good album.

Sad Wings Of Destiny is essential and a lot more melodic to their later output. Someone should do a Priest compilation as I only know around half of their output.

in metal or any type of heavy and fast music, I prefer harsh/growled/screamed vocals to clean ones

Amen. I'm actually a little disappointed if it's otherwise, to be honest.

That does seem to be a popular trend in the states.

The Bass line is right up there with "Isolation" (from Closer) in my view.

I know I'm in an extreme minority on this one but I like the two Duran Duran side projects - Power Station and Arcadia and looking for the second Power Station album
