Every single one? I mean, I like Ignition and Smash sounding Offspring, but Ixnay and Americana don't really approach the consistency of Alkaline Trio's first two albums...

This is probably very unpopular...

But I almost prefer the sound of a bass guitar being played with a pick to the sound of a bass being played with fingers.

I though Ixnay was one of their best. With "I Choose," "Change The World," "Gone Away," "All I Want," and "Way Down The Line," it certainly wasn't weak in the good songs department.

(Way Down The Line is my favorite Offspring song)

When it comes to fast-paced noisy stuff I tend to agree. I think I read that Justin Chancellor plays with a pick, and if so I like his sound a lot too...
