OK Computer is a good album but not close to the masterpeice people claim it to be. Kid A is however.
Bob Dylan and Jeff Mangum both have really good voices. Pearl Jam are pretty bad other than Vs., I like that album a decent amount. Mogwai are not boring at all. Oh Comely is the worst song on ITAOTS. |

I'm not down with all this Pearl Jam hate... greatest American band of all time, I'm really not so sure about that tag, and don't even think that would sit well with the band themselves... but they're a pretty damn good band nonetheless, and they seem to come out swinging every couple of years with a kick ass album, so you could do waaaaay worse than them, IMO.

Also the list doesn`t even mention the Byrds, without doubt one of the best and most influential bands ever to come out of America, also no mention of Alice Cooper! |

The Nico tracks on TVU&N are the best tracks The Velvet Underground ever made, the only thing that even comes close is 'Sunday Morning'.
The Soft Bulletin is one of the Lips' weakest albums. Bach is ****ing boring.

I hate remixes
There's nothing more depressing than seeing a song you love with the words (DJ Moron mix) after them. There is nothing artistic about sticking some generic beat over something, using a fuckload of electronic effects over it and then crowbarring in some of the original song almost as an afterthought. To this day I can't think of a single song that's been improved by a remix. I don't mind radio edits, I don't mind stuff being sampled to make totally different songs. I just hate remixes. Oh yes and while on the subject, 99.9% of mash-ups are rubbish.
