Don't listen to much punk cos most it sounds the same and is generally unpleasent to listen to. Actually listen to a lot of 90s metal bands Pantera being my favourite and probably the only metal band i would prefer over RATM, and as for Jazz no body cares. as for grunge alice in chains and the screaming trees are the only grunge bands i can tolerate.

So i stand by my previous statemant RATM own the 90s

heres the final warning if you're going to insult someone, you also need to add in something both germane and intelligent. Ill ban everything else. /\ Direct insults like this aren't funny and have no redeeming quality.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

I love how every band you mentioned could be heard on MTV.

I'm not sure that I am getting everything here. It seems to me that you are saying that a band being on MTV somehow changes its quality. Is there something that I am missing? What is it that makes music good? Is it being able to make it throughout an entire career without ever having been on MTV? Does mainstream make music suck? I guess I'm just missing something.

I don't think it's really anything to do with mainstream or non mainstream.

I just think it shows a lack of imagination to get all your music from commercial TV stations. If people had done that from the 1950s most of the bands today wouldn't even exist.
