Kind of ticked that you guys are making lists of the best 90s grunge/alternative band and you haven't mentioned Mudhoney once........

Wow, that kind of makes me sad. I'm listening to Superfuzz Bigmuff as I type this. What an album.

it's because it's about unpopular opinions.

according to most grunge fans it's not right to put soundgarden at the top of the pile. i've never met a grunge fan that crapped on Mudhoney.

it's like the comment about Amon Tobin's new album from a while back. how is that an unpopular opinion? might not be a mainstream opinion but i've never met anyone who recognized the name who would be annoyed at the news of a new release. it's generally quite the opposite (and about damn time).

I highly dislike 90's grunge. the only good thing about the nineties was the kick-arse electronic music scene. there are a few exceptions, though.

yeah i knew what you meant, just couldn't resist pulling out some of the nastier stuff from that decade. it's obvious you're nuts about Warp records, you ever check out the stuff on Mute or Thrill Jockey?

What about post-rock you like so much. It all originated in the 90s. What about math rock. That's more than a few exceptions.
