I do like Definitely Maybe, and WTSMG has Wonderwall, but the other 5 (I just checked Wikipedia lol, dunno why I said 8) were really ordinary and boring to me. I had their complete discography at one point, but went through and deleted all the songs I didn't like, which ended up being almost all of their latter 5 albums.

I'm glad you agree DM and WTSMG are wow.

Hmm.. I see where your coming from, as I think the other albums are pretty mediocre aswell, but not all of its bad.

Terrible. And that's coming from someone who grew up listening to them. I could just about tolerate BHN.

Well yeah, they're certainly not BAD. I'm just not fond of them.

Liam is a cock that needs to fuck off, he says he doesn't want anyone wearing his clothes and people say well "beggars can't be choosers" he's selling shit jackets for £50 a pop. He only wants cool people to wear them, I'm not a clothes snob or anything but looking at that shower of shit pretty green I feel I'm too cool for him. Not the other way around. But yeah Noel is a good lad, and I agree - after Be Here Now they really should've just hung up the guitars and microphone.
Lol, I'm not sure which one initiated the twattery, but as a duo they always acted like such toddlers. I remember reading an issue of Q (or was it NME? I forget) featuring a huge article on Oasis around the time Dig Out Your Soul was released. To me, the article made them look like such arrogant pricks. Especially when they dissed Radiohead. (And I don't even like Radiohead a whole lot)

Back in the day they were full of cocaine, from a council estate and when they got the royalties for WTSMG they were million airs. They were on the top of the world and acted like cocks. Understandable IMO, they let themselves get caught up in the hype. However Noel grew up and Liam still goes around 16 years after the song was released saying "Liver Forever" and it's like yeah, let it go. Grow up. Liam is throwing Brit awards about the place, doing a clothes thing, saying his new band is great. Now, he's just an old man trying to stay relevant. Noel Gallagher has barely been in the media.

As for the shunning of other bands, Noel's commented on this. People who interviewed Oasis knew if you asked them what they thought of something, they'd tell the truth. A lot of the time people asked questions so they'd get news. "What do you think of Radiohead?" "Crap."

Why does everybody seem to hate arrogant musicians.

I'd much rather have an arrogant musician than a smug musician.

I like SOTSOG. I think it actually has some decent tunes on it. Unfortunately it also has probably the worst two tracks they ever recorded on it in Little James and Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is. Those tracks were God awful by any bands standards.
