Gladly

I'm exagerrating of course. Not really sure who I'd pick out of the both of them. While I won't have a word said against Joy Division, I've been a New Order fan waaaaaaaay longer than I've been a Joy Division fan, and I listen to Technique, Get Ready, Lowlife and Republic much more often than Unknown Pleasures or Closer. Still couldn't possibly pick one of the two if I had to though.

I like New Order personally and their debut aside (they admitted to not having their own identity at this point) made some awesome Pop music and didn't ride on the misfortune of Ian to gain instant fame. They restarted and changed their sound a lot.

Bernie can't sing for toffee but they still have made some classic tunes. They are two different bands and should be judged so accordingly.

Curtis's epileptic seizure dance is more interesting than anything I've seen a raver do on the dancefloor

A better unpopular opinion would be that the Gorillaz were never that good of a band.

It's not unpopular amongst the many Blur fans who hate him for splitting up Blur to make that shit.
