Me either... I've always heard the whole Joy Division > New Order thing expressed around me... I tend to err on the side of thinking that they are too different to compare...

I know someone who actually prefers New Order to Joy Division. I went on a massive rang at them explaining how they were wrong, and they should just sit there in their wrongness and be wrong. Your circles > Mine.

I find it incredibly hard to listen to New Order. They are a generally a highly regarded band, but knowing what they did with Ian Curtis sours them quite a bit for me. Especially the song "Ceremony". Anyone heard the demo version with Ian on vocals? THAT is who should have sung that song.
