No but seriously they're pretty awful.

Slipknot is one of the better bands from the nu-metal era, and quite honestly nu-metal wasn't that bad.

Eh, at least it's more tolerable than the current wave of deathcore/hardcore.

tbh, some people may find it ironic (or for some, deserved) that alot of these deathcore bands list groups like Korn and Limp Bizkit as main influences, hehe.

I don't get what the big deal about LCD Soundsystem is.

I share your unpopular opinion. I think most people that like them aren't that experienced with electronic music. Otherwise they'd recognize that their sound is nothing special. At least that's the impression I got when I listened to one of their albums...I'd heard it all before, it just sounded more polished and packaged for the masses. More pop. People like pop, so there you go. I guess that's the big deal...it's easily accessible.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I'm with both of you on the LCD Soundsystem front. Not a horrible band IMO but at the same time I really don't get what the big deal is either.

- sometimes I think the following bands might be better than The Beatles, album for album:

Van Halen
Steely Dan
AC/DC
Joni Mitchell
Iron Maiden
Pavement
