i actually like everything i've heard by Slipknot (mind you it's only a handful of tracks but still).

Paying for opportunities such as gigs and promotion is wrong??? Even though, this is spine of todays current music business - the only difference is that with the labels your spending on a credit card. Very interesting topic.

I happen to think Spit It Out is a very good track and there are a couple on volume 3 that are good too. There are far worse bands out there and it's no worse than a lot of similar music that is accepted.

uhh... what?

i can't tell what side of that issue you're on. or what issue you think is an interesting topic (paying to play or the economics of playing music).

agreed though to be honest i only know the half dozen songs they've released for rockband / guitar hero. i think they're one of those bands that gets crapped on more because of the cult-ish behaviour of some of their more obsessed fans than their actual output.
